Spicy-Sticky BBQ Sauce

 

Ingredients

 

  • 250g Honey
  • Half squeezy bottle of mustard
  • 400g Tomato Frito or bottle or tomato ketchup
  • 10ml (2 teaspoons) Cayenne Pepper
  • 10 ml Tabasco sauce
  • 10 ml Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic chopped finely

 

Method

 

put all ingredients into a large bowl, mix well then cover meat and put in fridge over night.

 


BBQ  Basting Sauce

 

Ingredients

 

  • 60 ml of oil
  • 2 medium onions
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 400g chopped tomatoes
  • 30 ml cider or wine vinegar
  • 30g Brown Sugar
  • 100g tomato frito or ketchup
  • 20 ml of French Mustard
  • 10 ml Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt & Pepper

 

Method

 

Heat the oil in a large pan, and cook the onions and garlic until soft, but not browned. Stir in the rest of the ingredients stirring well to make a smooth sauce. Cook until very hot, stirring continuously.

Use to baste foods as you BBQ, or as a sauce over the food once cooked.
